i love spending time in the sun, painting, reading nonfiction, cooking nourishing food, journaling and writing poetry, singing, dancing, thrifting, being silly, and exploring near, deep, and far.

a libra sun, i am always appreciating beauty and finding ways to grow and deepen my communities. a cancer moon, i feel my own and other people's emotions deeply. a sagittarius rising, i'm on an eternal adventure to expand my understanding of what this one wild and precious life is meant to teach us.

what i’ve learned so far is that we are all connected to each other—our well-being bound up with the well-being of all other people on this beautiful and inflamed earth we inhabit for only a moment in time. that it’s possible to hold both—our own suffering and the suffering of others.

that when i’m open to healing and listening and unlearning and believing we can build a better world—where everyone has the right to safety, tenderness, and care—i am reminded of the interconnected web of life. that no matter how small and insignificant i may be, i am always a part of the whole. 💛
